Homemade Honey Milk Tea

A small confession to make: if I could have bubble tea every single day for the rest of my life, I surely would. I have one downstairs in my building. Unfortunately, it's an expensive and sugary habit to keep up.

Ever since I learned to make my own (without any processed sugar), both my health and bank account have been thanking me. Here is how to do it!

Ingredients:

  • 4 tablespoons of Crème Brûlée Chandler Honey

  • 4 bags of black tea

  • 2 cups water

  • milk of your choice (I prefer 3.25% homo milk)

  • ice

  • Optional: tapioca pearls from your local Asian grocery store

Directions:

Place water on the stove and bring to a boil. Add teabags and continue to simmer the water while allowing the tea to steep for 4-5 minutes. Remove tea bags.

Add Crème Brûlée Chandler Honey into tea mixture. The tea syrup should be very strong and very sweet. This tea syrup mixture can be cooled and kept in the fridge for several days.

Grab a cup of your choice and fill it with ice. Add the tea syrup and fill your cup 1/3 of the way full. Fill the remaining 2/3 of the cup with a milk of your choice. Enjoy this delightful milk tea!
