This sweet orange marinade for your chicken is sure to make it juicy and tender, but also serves as a terrific glaze while cooking. A perfect example of a no-fuss meal that will make your guests think you spent all day in the kitchen.
Ingredients:
- 50g of Orange Grove Chandler Honey
- 1/2 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
- 1/4 cup of extra virgin olive oil
- 2 cloves crushed garlic
- Optional: 2 tablespoons of sriracha hot sauce
- 3 lbs of chicken thighs or breasts
Directions:
Mix marinade ingredients together (Orange Grove Chandler Honey, orange juice, olive oil, garlic, and optional hot sauce). Ensure mixture is slightly warm to allow honey to melt with other ingredients.
Place marniade in a plastic bag with chicken and gently massage. Marinade for at least 20 minutes but up to 12 hours. Leave chicken out at room temperature 30 minutes before cooking, otherwise place in the fridge.
Remove the chicken from the bag one piece at a time and cook on the stove. When chicken is 75% cooked through, add remaining marinade from the bag to until glaze is starting to caramelize. Plate and enjoy! The remaining sauce from the pan can be poured over rice or vegetables.
